Team JAYDEE rider David Wilkinson takes Vic Enduro Class win
Podium finish in cross country’s and 9th outright for David Crampton
Team Jaydee riders David Wilkinson and Dave Crampton capped off an outstanding year in the Victorian off-road championships.
David Wilkinson on his Jaydee Motorcycles TM 250 4T took out the 250 4 stroke/200 2 stroke Expert class win leading from start of finish and ended up 2nd Expert outright. “This Championship was the hardest one to win for us, Jeff and I have put 5 times the effort into this years racing season and it has finally paid off, its an awesome feeling and an honour to know that we were capable of times with the Pro riders.” It was definitely a year of what could have been with missing 4 rounds of the cross country’s due to doing my ACL in my knee, still to miss 4 rounds
of the off-road championships and finish 13th outright is still OK, however a little disappointing not to be a Pro class rider for 2004. David was also a member of the Dandenong MCC winning Club team for the year.
Dave Crampton also capped off a sensational year to finish 2nd in the Expert 250 4 stroke/200 2 stroke class for the cross country’s. And finish an incredible 9th out right in the off-road championships for the year. Having the number “9” plate will see Dave start as a pro-class rider for the 2004 championship. Well done Dave. Dave was also a member of the Melton MCC winning club team in the cross countries.
Despite all the success of the year a sad note will be seeing long standing Jaydee team member David Wilkinson on the side lines for the 2004 season due to a knee reconstruction. We wish him all the best.
Team Jaydee would like to thank all its long standing sponsors for their dedication to the team and none absolutely none of it was possible without thei
